Bird’s Nest Ekenäs (2021)

This version of the Bird’s Nest Collaboration with Jan-Erik Andersson was our first following the COVID epidemic. The Artibus foundation, a Swedish-Speaking Finnish arts Foundation purchased the piece, with an aim toward preserving a copy of it, as well as touring it. We look forward to many more show of this work - the foundation is proposing at least one a year. For touring, the piece has a 4 channel sound element which is largely designed to work in the kinds of spaces they will most often show the work - public spaces, outdoors, situated in town centers, and used as a site for “pop-up” cafes, etc. This is exactly the kind of space the work was show during this first exhibition in Ekanäs Finland (Tammissaari in Finnish)
